Three in five of Australia’s regional airports are currently experiencing serious financial pressure, and this strain is unlikely to ease in the next decade. Moreover, due to the end of the mining boom there is a low demand for airlines to provide Fly-in/Fly-Out services to regional areas.
As an event wholly dedicated to regional airports, IQPC’s 8th Annual Regional Airport Development Conference for 2017 will focus on strategies for receiving approval for funds from Local, State and Federal Government, retro-fitting facilities to remain commercially competitive and within CASA regulations, and land-side development solutions.
